Day 4... On our way home.

This trip was fantastic! I grew closer to some great friends and now look forward to the next opportunity to make our way through these powerful and magnificent mountains. One thing I did not mention earlier... we all woke up at 1 am on the last day of our trip. I had the burning to desire to go look at the stars. Jason and Nate and I came out of our tents, the bright moon rising in the east, and witnessed what I would consider to be a miracle... in about 15 minutes time... we saw 10 or more shooting stars in the most vivid, cloudless sky I have ever seen. After a few more good belly laughs, we went back to our tents and fell fast asleep.

I have gained a more perfect understanding of one thing during this trip: "The only real time there is is now and the only place we are is here... drink it all in."
